What does the date on the bottom of the Platte Valley Jugs mean?
"1969" is the mold number used during jug manufacture prior to the early 90's.

All tequila bottled at McCormick Distilling Company’s bottling facility in Weston, MO is Mixto Tequila. 51% of the fermented sugar in Mixto Tequila is derived from Agave with the other 49% coming from other sugar sources. We do bottle Reposado Tequila at our bottling

Whiskey is an alcoholic distillate from the mash of fermented grain and may contain mixtures of such distillates. Whiskey is usually stored in charred oak barrels. These barrels may be new or used. Bourbon is a whiskey that distilled from a mash containing a minimum of 51 % corn and stored in new charred oak barrels.
